As a dedicated Registered Nurse Psychotherapist, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, offering a unique perspective when working with individuals. My passion for supporting others as a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist is deeply rooted in my own lived experiences and the invaluable support I have received throughout my journey.
With over three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in medical acute care and more than two years as an individual Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Coach, I have had the privilege and opportunity to learn how to effectively guide individuals and their families through challenging and vulnerable times. Some common challenges I help my clients in working with are overwhelming responsibilities, poor work-life balance, excessive worrying or restlessness, emotional exhaustion and/or a loss of motivation. If you identify with any of these or are experiencing related struggles, reach out. In therapy, I adopt a holistic and integrative approach to care. My practice is grounded in compassion, mindfulness, and non-judgment, and is further enriched by my training in CBT (and continuing education in DBT, and Somatic Stress Release). Through this, you can expect to gain strategies to handle stress and anxiety more effectively and learn healthier boundaries to reduce your burnout— All leading to a greater sense of emotional balance and well-being. I offer virtual support to adults seeking assistance with stress management, anxiety, and burnout, providing a compassionate environment tailored to each individuals’ needs. |
