ABOUT
I have a passion for supporting adults, teens and children to help individuals and families thrive. You're doing your best but perhaps you're also feeling emotionally trapped, confused, tired, overwhelmed or alone. Maybe feeling pressured as a young person? Have you noticed or learned about some concerning emotional or behavioral challenges in your child? If you are struggling with a specific issue or noticing patterns in your life that you are unhappy with, I can support you to get to the core of it all with the intention of moving toward healing, greater purpose, meaningful connections and a happier life.
With nearly 20 yrs of training and psychotherapy experience, I can support you and/or your child to find solutions surrounding mental health, trauma, life transitions and family dynamics. I incorporate mindfulness, neurobiology and art while my therapeutic approach relies heavily on evidenced frameworks including CBT, Narrative, Solution Focused and EMDR. EMDR can be therapeutic for individuals experiencing any form of pain that may be at the root of intrusive thoughts, hard feelings, body ache or harmful behaviors. You will find me to be an engaging and empathetic guide who will honor your strengths and resilience that may have gone unnoticed or forgotten. I will reflect on your goals and support every step. |
