ABOUT
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply unsure of your next steps, therapy can be a space to feel heard, supported, and begin to heal. Life can throw unexpected curveballs, and having someone walk alongside you during those times can make a meaningful difference.

Hi, I'm Michelle. I support youth and young adults who are navigating relationship challenges, identity exploration, and life transitions. My therapeutic approach is deeply person-centred and narrative-based, as I believe that you are the author of your own story. Our sessions can be the start to building self-agency and reauthoring narratives that no longer serve you. I am here to provide a compassionate, safe space where your experiences are heard without judgment.

As a second-generation, Chinese-Canadian woman, I understand that it can be challenging to reconcile different parts of your cultural identity with generational expectations. Trying to figure out who you are while navigating both cultural and societal norms is a delicate balance, and it can be even harder if you are dealing with other things like burnout, relational conflict, or stress. I recognize that opening up to others about your struggles can feel incredibly vulnerable, so I approach therapy with curiosity and openness, and ask thoughtful questions to better understand your unique experiences. Working in the non-profit sector has taught me that people are resilient and have the capacity to deal with unexpected and difficult life events. My practice is grounded in empathy, with a focus on clients' strengths and building a sense of connection.

If you're considering taking the next step, I'd love to connect. Book a free 15-minute consultation to explore whether therapy feels like the right fit for you.
