EXPERTISE: Comprehensive psychological assessments to help identify cognitive and learning disabilities, emotional and behavioural challenges, as well as social/interpersonal issues.

​Psycho-educational assessments are recommended when parents and/or schools suspect a child is experiencing difficulties in achievement, having learning challenges or ADHD, is gifted, or may be experiencing social, emotional issues that may interfere with school or family functioning.
ABOUT
Dr. Perry is a registered Clinical and School Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, and a member of the Canadian Psychological Association.

Dr. Perry obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and her clinical and research training at the Hospital for Sick Children.

She has conducted research through the Department of Psychiatry Research at The Hospital for Sick Children, working in the area of Pediatric ADHD. Dr. Perry was formerly the Chief Psychologist and Mental Health Lead for a school board in Sudbury, Ontario.

Dr. Perry has had training in both inpatient settings and outpatient programs, providing assessment and therapeutic intervention for people experiencing mild to severe difficulties. Some of her experience includes her work at Brampton Civic Hospital, the Hospital for Sick Children, and the Simcoe County District School Board. Dr. Perry works with children, adolescents, and their families. She is the founder of York Pediatric Psychology and has been in private practice for over ten years.
