ABOUT

Ginger Beard-Martin is an Ontario Certified Teacher and a registered social worker. Ginger’s training includes Dual Diagnosis at the Waypoint Mental Health Centre in Penetanguishene, Ontario as an applied systems social worker and Addictions Services Central Ontario as an addiction’s counselor. As a teacher for the Toronto District School Board and special education, specialist, Ginger has a unique breadth and depth of knowledge regarding childhood trauma, learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, anxiety, and behavioural issues in school children and teens and how they affect the child and family as a whole. Ginger’s experience and scope of practice as a therapist also extends to adults and families who are working through various life challenges and transitions such as divorce, mid-life changes, concerns for young adult children living in the home, and the death of a loved one.
