ABOUT

Dr. Heifetz has training and experience working with individuals with a range of developmental and mental health conditions, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety and mood disorders, OCD, disruptive behaviour disorders, learning disabilities, and parent-child conflict.
 
Dr. Heifetz is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, and a member of the Ontario Psychological Association. She obtained her Ph.D. from York University and her post-doctorate research was at CAMH. Dr. Heifetz regularly consults with hospitals and community teams, and she teaches at York University.
 
Dr. Heifetz is passionate about supporting children, youth, and families in optimizing their mental health through evidence-based assessment and treatment approaches tailored to each individual client.
