ABOUT

I offer mental health support for women as they navigate various life transitions, particularly throughout the perinatal and reproductive years. Having a safe space to talk openly about the challenges you’re facing during your journey can be a relief. Whether you’re looking to manage grief and loss, improve your mood or anxiety, learn how to set boundaries with family members, or process your birth experience, I'm here for you.  

In therapy, I utilize a person-centered approach which means that I will always follow your lead in therapy and provide support, guidance, and structure to help you discover personalized solutions within yourself. I also incorporate various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) into our sessions. I also incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as a complement to talk therapy in order to process and overcome trauma. 

I recognize the unique needs of women and using this approach, we’ll find a way for you to show up as the best version of yourself. We will work together to better understand yourself and your experiences, identify patterns and behaviours that no longer serve you, and develop new coping strategies to help you navigate difficult situations. With greater self-acceptance, you can lead a fulfilling and meaningful life.
