Kelly Garbe has an empathic, supportive listening approach and can offer a fresh perspective on your feelings, thinking and behaviour. She is passionate about building on the strengths within each individual to create deeper resiliency and healing. She can help you to understand what you are experiencing and how to shift towards change.
Kelly uses research-based approaches and has a compassionate, non-judgmental and respectful style that clients say puts them at ease and allows them to process their experiences. Kelly works with adults with a range of mental health concerns. She has helped individuals recover from symptoms of depression, learn to manage anxiety and cope with health concerns. Having worked in a regional cancer program she has supported people through the challenges of a cancer diagnosis, recovery and palliative concerns. As a Registered Social Worker with 20 years’ experience, Kelly has completed her Master of Social Work at University of Waterloo, her Bachelor of Social Work at McMaster University and Bachelor of Sociology at University of Windsor. |
