ABOUT
I began my journey into the helping profession as a Registered Nurse working in Psychiatry/community mental health. In this role, I loved engaging in Psychotherapy with individuals while observing and supporting them to develop their own abilities towards healing and growth. I took the leap to becoming a Psychotherapist a little later in life. Because of this I bring a lot of life experience to my practice. My own personal growth, experience and training provide me with a great deal to offer others towards learning to believe in themselves.
Eveningstar Psychotherapy provides a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings. I offer you the opportunity to voice in your own words what your fears, worries and concerns are. Together we find ways to explore situations in a different light and to help you grow to recognize your own inner strengths and wisdom. Eveningstar Psychotherapy provides therapy using a narrative approach (your story), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (helping you recognize how your thoughts affect your feelings) and a solution focused approach.
