ABOUT
Welcome, I am so glad you are here. My name is Melissa Louka, the proud owner of Under The Oak Psychotherapy. I am passionate about walking alongside women, teens and families in the ups and downs of this life. At Under the Oak, I work with you to sit safely in the pain, grieving and uncertainty, all the while helping you to see the flickers of beauty through the trees. I understand that it can be difficult to find purpose and meaning in seasons of suffering, which is why I work with you to help create a life you want to stick around for and is worth your while.
I come with 15 years of experience working with adolescents and their families, and over 5 years of experience working with adult women and couples. I use an integrative approach to help customize your unique needs and establish how to work towards your goals together. More specifically, I am well versed and trained in DBT, CBT, Family System and trauma informed therapy.
