I know how anxiety can affect all areas of your life, like your relationships, work, and even activities that are supposed to be enjoyable. You might think to yourself, "What is wrong with me?" or "Why can't I just be normal?". You might even question your ability to do things at times, such as applying for a new job or picking out the right couch for your living room.
I know that feelings of self-doubt and uncertainty can make it hard to believe that therapy can help. But you're not alone. My job is to provide the best tools and strategies to effectively manage your symptoms and achieve what you want in life. As a trauma-informed therapist, I believe that everyone deserves a safe and non-judgmental space to process their experiences and emotions. My approach is warm, compassionate, and accommodating. I utilize evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed Integrative Somatic Therapy Practices (ISTP) to help clients manage their anxiety symptoms. Through CBT, clients can identify and challenge their negative thought patterns, often contributing to anxiety. Additionally, I can provide guidance and education for clients to explore the mind-body connection in a safe space to promote emotional regulation and regain safety within the body. Everyone deserves the opportunity to experience positive change in their lives, and I am committed to helping my clients achieve their goals. While I have a special interest in working with individuals who have anxiety or experienced childhood trauma, I am always expanding my knowledge and skill set to serve my clients better.
