ABOUT
Samantha holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from University of Toronto, after having completed her Bachelors of Social Work and Bachelors of Sociology through McMaster University. Shas brings over 10 years experience working alongside children, youth, adults and families in a variety of capacities that inform her therapeutic style.
Samantha partners with clients as they journey towards discovering their inner potential and address the challenges they are currently experiencing. Samantha is a strong believer that her clients possess inner strength and resilience that can help them move through difficult life experiences, and strives to join with them in gaining further insight into their challenges, while learning new ways of coping and promoting ongoing mental wellness. Her passion is working with mothers and parents supporting them in their transition into parenthood and beyond. She is a strong advocate for maternal mental health and works to help parents navigate through the many challenges experienced throughout parenthood. Samantha practices from a trauma-informed attachment lens along with other therapeutic modalities that inform her practice with clients. She adopts a strength-based, non-judgemental approach that promotes a safe-space to explore both recent difficulties or long-standing challenges. |
