Are you ready for a change in your life? I would love to help you with your goals.
I tailor treatment to each client's needs in a collaborative and respectful manner. I am particularly interested in providing evidence-based treatment for adults dealing with mood and anxiety difficulties, phobias, OCD, trauma, work related trauma, relationship concerns, and other stress and adjustment difficulties.
I view therapy as a means of helping clients build on their existing strengths and discovering ways that improve coping, enhance quality of life, and help them achieve their personal goals.
I received my PhD from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) and am registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. I have worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings with adults providing both therapy and assessment.
My clinical approach is evidence-based and solution focused. I work primarily from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework, in addition to applying elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT).
